For almost 30 years Deyan Audio has pioneered the Audiobook industry with 12 Grammy nominations, 5 wins in the category of spoken word and most recently claimed the 2019 Audiobook of the Year award.
Daniel will be an impressive addition to Deyan Audio’s roster of voice over talent. Prior to joining Deyan Audio, his voice was featured on two Spanish commercials that were aired worldwide for Roku. Daniel also has produced and narrated an audiobook available on Amazon and iTunes. He has also been featured playing various roles from college kid to reverend in short films and plays. Daniel Colt was born in Colombia and moved to Venezuela at the age of 5. In middle school, he went to an acting summer camp and immediately fell in love with acting. Daniel graduated high school and moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting professionally. He obtained a BFA in Acting for Film from the New York Film Academy. Daniel became more skilled by completing the Meisner program under the supervision of renowned teacher Alex Taylor. He then learned the craft of voice overs from Emmy Nominee George McGrath and has been coached by Valorie Hubbard (credited for Hannah Montana) and Alex Cole Taylor (who has worked with Whoopi Goldberg, Robin Williams and more). He’s been working as a professional actor for over 10 years across a variety of mediums. “I’m beyond excited to work with Deyan,” said Daniel Colt. “They are telling some of the most fleshed out and rich stories out there and that is exactly what I’ve always been passionate about as an actor and VO artist.”

He graduated with a BFA in Acting for Film from the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles and completed the Meisner program under the supervision of renowned teacher Alex Taylor. Some of his recent work includes Spanish voice overs for Roku, co-writing and starring as a schizophrenic in the dark horror play “The Institute” directed by Denis McCourt and reprising the same role in the film adaptation directed by Michael McCartney. Colt has played various roles from a college kid, to a reverend, and even a killer in “The Laramie Project” directed by Maria Gobetti. He also wrote, co-produced, and starred in the psychological drama short “Holding On”.
