United States, Ohio, Cincinnati – 06-23-2020 (PRDistribution.com) — The theme for the NANT 11 Conference is Cultivating Connection.
The National Association of Neonatal Therapists has just announced their Call for Abstracts in preparation for their 11th Annual Conference scheduled to be held April 8-10, 2021 in Tucson, AZ.
The “Cultivating Connection” theme highlights not only what has been learned from being physically distant in 2020, but the vital role neonatal therapists play in the art and science of cultivating connection between parents and babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), between multiple professions, in research efforts, and in closing the gap on racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic disparities in this population.
The ability to cultivate connection in every area of NICU care builds bridges instead of silos on the journey to improve neurodevelopmental outcomes for babies who begin their lives in the NICU.
It is for this reason that the Call for Abstracts is so vital to making this event as successful as possible. So many questions to answer, so many myths to replace with evidence, and so much knowledge and skill to share.
“From research findings, to expert investigations and process improvement updates, bringing together the brilliance of the professional community has never been more critical to the evolution and advancement of neonatal therapy and neonatal care,” said NANT President and Founder, Sue Ludwig, OTR/L, CNT.
Any profession (or parent) with relevant content may submit. Submissions will be accepted for Main Conference Oral Presentations, Poster Presentations, and Pre-Conference Sessions. Deadline for Abstract submissions is August 17, 2020.
