United States, California, Los Angeles – 10-30-2020 — Los Angeles, CA (October, 2020)- In hopes of building an environment where young leaders can express themselves, Congressional Candidate Joe Collins has created a plan to rebuild California’s 43rd District’s schools. The South-Central LA native’s new state of the art plan aims at providing students with Vocational and STEM Training that will give them the tools and skills necessary in order to succeed.
With Collins’ new plan of action the school system won’t be the only thing changing, but in addition the school’s architecture. The new layout would create a more modern and fun environment that would encourage students to be more engaged in school and willing to participate in activities. Collins’ new schools would have state of the art classrooms, tech labs, theatre-arts, athletics and even a licensing and certification training. The level of education that students receive in the 43rd District is one of the worst in the country and Collins is ready to change that. The Navy veteran has always prioritized quality education as it forms part of his 5-point plan for district rebuilding, overhauling education, providing high paying job opportunities, relationship with the police and ending homelessness. Collins, who plans on replacing incumbent Rep. Maxine Waters, realizes now more than ever the district’s school system needs to be transformed. For decades Waters has overseen the district’s education system fall through the cracks and has done nothing about it.
